Don Nixon is a thirty-four-year veteran of Youth for Christ, having begun his career as a member of the Southwest Area PA YFC/Campus Life ministry staff in Washington, PA (1976-84). He was the founding Executive Director of Metro-Pittsburgh YFC (1985-2000) and currently serves the Eastern States Region of YFC with regard to ministry growth and advancement. In addition to authoring the book “Winning the 21st Century” Don speaks on a variety of topics concerning our nation’s Christian heritage, youth issues and finding your passion. He also consults with businesses and organizations regarding strategic planning, vision and mission statements.  The Transformational Summit, the latest of these efforts is designed to help American churches find their God-given role in Winning the 21st Century.
Don graduated from Peters Twp. High School (McMurray, PA) in 1972 and the University of Pittsburgh in 1976. He married the former Shileen Keszeg from Newport News, VA in 1983. They have two sons, Justin (22) and Austyn (17) and currently reside in McMurray, just outside of Pittsburgh, PA.
